I can't beleive its been that long since I updated this page.  Sometimes, I question if it even is worth it anymore.  I've seen half of my friends gone overseas on vacation now, while I'm tied down at the office from 9-5pm, which is becoming very repetitive and just slows your entire day.  Am I the office type to be looking at the computer screen 7 hours/day?  Let's just say, I'm still evaluating that.....

     I'm definitely trying to make the most of my summer, I've been more committed to going to the gym every day following 8 hours of work.  Especially when I have  to mentally and physically prepare for the big run, in mid-October.  Also got the chance to Read several thoughtful books, watch movies, and most notably always make time to get out with friends to some drinks.

  So yeah, I'm glad to say I'm living my life more positively right now, making the most of each day, learning lots, while meeting many new faces wherever I go.  My expectations of myself, I think will only get better and better....

Once again, it's become quite a busy time for me at this time of year.  Busy enough that you probably noticed that haven't committed much time to this page like I used to.  Unfortunately, this trend may continue all summer as I'm usually not even at home anymore!  My job required me to relocate to Downtown temporaily from Mon-Fri to be closer to school/work. 

You can bet I have my work cut out for me, working full time, and then having to do nite courses right after too.  Oh, but ofcourse I also have a social/personal life too, which is probably even more important to me, I only wish I had more time for it.............

I can recall a year ago from today, I was boarding a plane for Europe only to expereince one of the greatest moments I ever had in my life............Too bad things are more serious these days, doesnt seem exciting one bit like travelling does!  otherwise...I'd take off in a flash!

How's your luck finding a job nowadays?

Lately, some of my classmates and friends are still looking for jobs this summer.  Especially my classmates who have to do their internship this year as a requirement to graduate!  I can imagine why some are stressing themselves over it.  I totally understand all the pressure they may face, including the extra pressure they may put on themselves.  I now realize that I made the right gamble, by choosing to start my internship placement early 3 months ago. 

Anyhow, the only advice I have to give to my friends/classmates (or any student looking for a summer job for that matter) is to keep looking for these placements/opportunities.  Most importantly, utilize each and everyone of these opportunities that come by.  Just apply for it! Don't be too specific and rely on those few applications your hoping to get.

In the end, I'd imagine that (at a worst case scenario) even if you don't end up finding a job..... you won't have any regrets knowing that you tryed your best to look for one.  But you'd certainly would have regrets if you knew you didn't give it your best to find a job, including making the necessary sacrifices and little things which help score you one.

It feels great to be done school now.  I've totally freed my mind of all this stress that I've been facing the last 8 months.  I know I got summer courses in early May to attend, however I know it won't be as intense, besides it's only 1 course.   Can you believe I actually ended up going clubbing 2 nights in a row?  Yeah thx to JWU, on Thursday I was at 7, while on Friday I went to INSIDE.  It's defintely changed since the last time I was there last August.  I usually never go 2 nites in a row.

I finally bought a new phone to replace my old Sanyo phone (At a discount price too) from that new future shop that opened near my house.  Behold, the LG 4600........Surprisingly, they even threw in that "L'il Telus Piglet", with my purchase!  Now that defintely, does not look like that piglet you've seen on TV!

I guess i'll just another piece of Toy I'll end giving away to my 8 yr old cousin....
